Updating this checklist
from time to time
for completed, in-progress
& pending activities
and conducting review
against the milestones.
This would involve
Breaking
up the major activities
into smaller sub-activities.
Identifying
the responsible department
& personnel for
each activity.
Setting
up time frames for each
minor & major activity.
Identifying
the preceding &
acceding activities
for each activity.
Planning the execution in such
a way that the progress
of the project is not
stalled at any point.
Ensuring
timely completion of
these activities, as
planned.
Forming
cross-functional teams from
the customer and the contractor and helping them to evolve
as well knit performance oriented
teams. Drawing minutes, assigning
responsibilities, reviewing
and updating checklists etc.
Holding regular meetings with
the contractor to review the
progress of the project.
Offering
assistance at all stages of project execution w.r.t. Material
procurement, production planning, documentation, logistics etc,
as and when required.
Regular
follow up by way of surprise inspections, GMP audits, SHE
audits etc.
